PETA MAKES WAR ON BIKERS- ANIMAL RIGHTS ACTIVISTS TAKE "War On Leather" to MOTORCYCLE RALLY

"Something just went wrong," said a still visibly shaken organizer of the protest. "Something just went horribly, horribly, wrong."

"They peed on me!!!" charged one activist. "They grabbed me, said I looked like I was French, started calling me 'La Trene', and duct taped me to a tree so they could pee on me all day!"

"I... I was trying to show my outrage at a man with a heavy leather jacket. And, he... he didn't even care. I called him a murderer, and all he said was, 'You can't prove that.' Next thing I know is he forced me to ride on the back of his motorcycle all day, and not left me off, because his girl friend was out of town and I was almost a woman."

Still others claimed they were forced to eat hamburgers and hot dogs under duress. Those who resisted were allegedly held down while several bikers "farted on their heads."

Police officials declined comments on any leads or arrests due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, however, organizers for the motorcycle club rally expressed "surprise" at the allegations.

Yeah, Harley riders are a funny bunch. Even when I was one, I didn't wear the prescribed uniform. On a Gold Wing, nobody expects me to wear any kind of uniform (save perhaps the full helmet with boom mic, which I also don't wear).

Those PETA folks apparently didn't think their actions through prior to committing.

Those PETA folks apparently didn't think their actions through prior to committing.

Or being committed. If they can't do a simple risk/benefit assessment, perhaps they should at least read a little history; particularly the biography of George Armstrong Custer.

There They Go Again

I am reminded of the story about the old cowboy who came knocking on the pearly gates. When St. Peter opened them, he asked the cowboy:

"Have you ever done an act of bravery to help another"?

The cowboy replied, "Well, I tried to stop a young blonde from being molested by a bunch of bikers."

"That's great, when did you do that?"

"About ten minutes ago."

Not all bikers are scruffy looking, some are really rather cute. But all bikes are just awesome. In my not so humble opinion anyway.

Drummer,

You'd have loved the one we saw up in northern Michigan a couple of years back. Bike with a sidecar going down the road. Guy in the sidecar and a Golden Retriever on the bike seat. Totally freaked out everybody else on the road. They couldn't figure out if the guy had rigged a control system for the sidecar or if it was a really smart dog. Very cool.

Back in the day, ole borehead gave a few dogs a ride or two... or five.

Even gave an elephant a ride across he Memorial Bridge connecting Portsmouth and Kittery and it was a steel grate deck. The extra weight added a real challenge, but, we made it.

Strawberry blond, of fair complexion on the pinkish side! She was big, but very pretty, very soft, with long painted fingernails.

Spending a lot of time fishing, my thoughts would dwell, my loins would ache, and everytime I thought of them women, I could'nt wait to get back.

The dogs? they were beer drinking dogs that drained a fisherman's wallet.

The drank so much, I'd have to spend a week to ten days on Georges just to have enough to do it all over again, cyclical. It was a blast.

Yeppers, I've seen dogs in sidecars before, pretty cool.

It was even cooler than that Drummer. It wasn't the dog in the sidecar, it was the guy. The dog was riding the bike, and if you looked at it from a passing car, it looked like the dog was actually doing the steering.

I do have a problem with cruelty to animals. It is unnecessary. And I really dislike factory farming and animal testing.

daMamma- I was joking you a little. I stopped eating animals because of all the hormones and stuff that they put in them. I hate the cruel system they have but people have to eat and I have no idea how we would feed everyone without the mass production farming we have now.

I stay away from farm raised fish and corexit fish too.

I don't eat farm raised fish either. I do prefer the meat on my dinner plate to have been raised organic and free range. And I do mean actual 'free range' and not that, "well it had 3 square feet of space all to itself" crap.

More expensive, but better for you.

When confronted with the allegations of force feeding the activists meat, using
them as ad hoc latrines, leaving them incapacitated in fast food restaurant
dumpsters, and 'farting on their heads,' the organizer declined to comment in
detail. "That's just our secret handshake," assured the organizer.

That was damn funny. I didn't even know PETA had a sense of humor.
